Design Industry Panel Discussion at MOD Goldsmiths Design Degree Show

Saturday, 9 June 2018

Unit 8, Copeland Park & Bussey Building

I organised and hosted a panel discussion with designers and advocates from the industry surrounding the topics of different design disciplinary and design education. The sold out event took place at Goldsmiths, University of London’s BA Design Degree Show in 2018 and received a lot of positive feedback from our audiences. The panel discussion was designed for graduates who are ready to embark their next steps of career journey entering the industry, and was awarded with generous funding support from Goldsmiths Students’ Union.

DESCRIPTION

Join us for a panel discussion on the topic of multi-disciplinary and post-disciplinary design as part of the MOD - Goldsmiths BA Design Degree Show 2018. How does our design study fit into today's industry and what does post-disciplinary education mean in the greater context? We are hosting a panel with speakers coming from different backgrounds in close relation to design and opening up a conversation about the next steps for design graduates. The panel will be moderated by two final year Goldsmiths design students.

The event is free of charge and open to public. Bookings required, please RSVP. Doors Open at 1.30pm, Panel Discussion will start at 2pm.
